Funko Fusion’s villian reveal is here and was announced during the San Diego Comic-Con. The game’s story trailer revealed a new villain: Eddy Funko, voiced by the legendary Clancy Brown. Eddy Funko is a dark, twisted character who brings a new level of menace to the game, making him a force to be reckoned with. The game is gearing up to be the ultimate crossover action-adventure game! Funko Fusion is set to drop on September 13, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, with a later release for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

During the panel, Robert Kirkman of Skybound Entertainment gave us more juicy details, surprising fans with news about the Funko Fusion crossover with Invincible and The Walking Dead. In-game footage features Invincible and Omni-Man in action, plus a sneak peek at The Walking Dead’s Rick Grimes and Michonne, highlighting the game’s diverse playable characters.

With Funko Fusion’s villian reveal, Eddy Funko is set on total domination, using his dark powers to possess characters across pop culture-inspired worlds. Players must fight back by assembling a team of heroes to battle Eddy’s corrupted forces. From Jurassic World to Back to the Future, the game features an insane lineup of franchises.
