Welcome to A Day in the Life of a Palian, our new series, on Press Start. In this series, we dive into the cosy life simulation game Palia. Each week, I’ll explore the world of Palia, working on tasks like hunting, fishing, gardening, and more, to build a home and friendships. Today we will be Hunting in Kilima Fields.

Seven months ago, we began our adventure in Palia. We’ve uncovered much about our mysterious rebirth and the village of Kilima. Exploring Barhi Bay and interacting with its residents has been a joy. Building relationships, especially with the elf-like females, is another exciting part of our journey.
In today’s first episode, I jump into one of my favourite activities in Palia: hunting. Armed with my bow, I head to Kilima Fields and the Whispering Banks. This area provides excellent vantage points for practising long shots. Let’s see how my skills hold up!
As we venture out to begin hunting in Kilima Fields, I find a perfect spot to target a lone Sanuk. Carefully aiming, I hit the mark. Moving to a new position, I spot another Sanuk further away. Taking my time, I adjust for distance, physics and release. Two in a row! At my third spot, I see four Sanuks. Planning my shots carefully, I release one after another, hitting all four. Not bad for a day’s work in Kilima Village. The hunting practice has paid off, and I’ve got some great drops to enhance my cooking skills.

Next time, we’ll start our day early with breakfast and some chores around the home plot. Then, we’ll head to the village for more adventures. Plus, a special guest is arriving in Palia, which might stir things up. Could she be girlfriend number five? Stay tuned!
